Having made an appointment while I still lived in North Gosford, NSW, to visit your office on a particular Thursday in the first week of October, I faced a dilemma. There was a house on your website that called to me! I looked at it over and over, consulted my daughter for her opinion, which agreed with mine - it was a very nice piece of property.

I made an appointment with 5 different Real Estate firms in Launceston, whom I planned to visit during the first week of October, with the express purpose of finding an appropriate house and setting the purchase in motion.

However, armed with such positive feedback from my daughter, I phoned your office the week prior to this intended to visit to Launceston. Paula was the 'rep' to whom I spoke. I told her that on no account was she to sell that house I was looking at on the net, not until I reached her office the following week. I expressed a thought that it would be a good thing if there was some way I could secure it in the meantime. This was fairly early on the morning on August 16.

By the end of the day I had filled in all the necessary paperwork, returned the contract by fax, paid the deposit at the bank, and had a phone call that evening around 7pm congratulating me on the purchase of the house the object of my desire! What Fun!

But then to tell my daughter, whose opinion I value but whose wrath I fear when I make decisions without consulting her first. I thought she would think I had been too impulsive in acting as I had. However, I need not have feared because when I finally mustered up the courage to phone her, she said she know I would have done just as I had, and that given the same circumstances, she would have done the same. Relief!!!

So the next thing was to come and see this house I had bought. I flew into Launceston late afternoon on Monday, checked my baggage into the motel and drove straight to Melrose Place where I was to meet Paula for a quick look-see while there was still some daylight.

When I arrived, the house lights were on and a gentleman greeted me at the front door - he being the owner of the property and very kindly showed me around the house. Some minutes later a very well-turned-out, attractive young lady entered the house - I learned that she was Paula. I thought she was a very decorative girl, an excellent advertisement for Peter Lees Real Estate.

After seeing all there was to see, we went our separate ways. It was good to have had some of my questions answered, questions which could only be answered by seeing the property for myself. Yes, I believed I had done a good thing - this house was very neat and well presented and appeared to be a good investment.

A couple of days later, I once again met Paula - she actually came to the motel where we were staying, and took myself and my 16 year-old grandson, Jamie, to lunch at a very nice venue at Trevallyn. I was impressed how easy Paula was to relate to. She is no doubt very good at her job, while managing to fit in her family responsibilities. She deserves to go far.

After lunch she asked if we would like to go anywhere else. I was reluctant to take her from what seemed to me was her very busy schedule but she pressed us to say if there was something we would like to see. She drove us into town where Jamie and I enjoyed a look around the Tasmanian Design Centre, which I'd long wanted to visit and which Paula said she hadn't been to herself.

We enjoyed a very pleasant time with her. She is an excellent companion. She couldn't have done more for us than she did. Paula is a most obliging person.

Now you fold at Peter Lees Real Estate, you take care to look after this gem - she is a treasure beyond valuing!
